JOB OPENINGS! The SJI Food Co-op is looking for new Team members! We offer a fun working environment with a community that really cares about the source and quality of its food. Customer service is our number one priority at the Co-op so outgoing and friendly candidates are preferred.

✔️ Produce Clerk - Are you someone who loves top-notch produce, has a keen eye for detail, and is ready to work with a strong team? This position has the opportunity to nurture our partnerships with our local farmers and develop new relationships to expand our offerings. It requires strong communication skills with the Produce team and members, as well as food-handling skills to make sure things are done safely and properly. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

✔️ Grocery Clerk - Do you like discovering new products? We do and we are always open to input. This person needs to have a flexible schedule, a willingness to work hard and have fun with our Grocery team, while also having the ability to work independently and complete a variety of tasks around the store. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

✔️ Cashier - Hello! You are the first person our members see as they walk in the door and you are engaging with them as they check out. This role is for someone who is personable, energetic, and able to multi-task around the store. This person needs to have a flexible schedule and a willingness to jump in to cover shifts. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Evan Healy, a holistic aesthetician, is a beauty expert and a recognized pioneer in the natural personal care industry. Her mission is to change the way folks think about and treat their skin.

At her core, Evan calls herself a truth seeker. An ongoing search for knowledge has dominated her life for decades. Throughout that time, she fostered connections with folks who celebrate ancient traditions, wisdom from nature, and a commitment to care for the Earth.

Evan's work began at her father's natural foods store in San Diego, cultivating its health and wellness section into something of benefit to their community. Eventually, she found herself immersed in biodynamic plant studies and European-based holistic studies.

From her studies, Evan created her holistic skincare line. All her makings have the rhythms and physiology of the body in mind to support long-term skin health and radiance.

evanhealy, the company named after Evan herself, values whole plant oils, waters, and butters, as well as Earthen clays, as our tools and allies. They source them directly from small family farms, women's co-operatives, and co-operative villages worldwide.

Having drawn inspiration from ancient beauty practices, nature and its cycles, Ayurveda, homeopathy, and traditional Western herbalism, evanhealy's approach is a fusion of modalities all structured around the goal of realigning skin with its highest potential and awakening its innate resilient, adaptable nature.
